The county court order book is a transcript of orders issued by the court and is essentially concerned with the administration, supervision, and regulation of county affairs. Order books may include such records as probate records; road orders; lunacy inquests; bonds, reports, and settlements of public officials; occupational licenses; naturalization records; and records concerning the administration of the fiscal affairs of the county. Entries may include date, term of court, names of principles, nature of order, and signature of county judge.
